Job description
Software Engineer (React Native)
As a React Native Developer at Itekako, you will work on our client's mobile-first platform designed to seamlessly integrate with existing systems via APIs, streamlining data input and enabling real-time 1-on-1 communication between users and their guides. Your primary focus will be building and maintaining a scalable, high-performance mobile application. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and designers to deliver an intuitive and reliable user experience, even in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Develop and maintain scalable mobile applications using React Native
- Ensure seamless API integration for reliable data exchange
- Collaborate with backend developers to optimize performance and responsiveness
- Work closely with the client’s team to bring user-centered solutions to life while ensuring smooth development integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app development, with significant hands-on work in React Native
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with RESTful API integration
- Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques for mobile apps
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a team
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
